# Server shutdown in progress – Jetpack

 * Hello everyone,
    I have been facing a bit of a problem. A website of a client
   is facing an issue. The error in question is `WordPress database error Server
   shutdown in progress for query SELECT option_value FROM wp1b_options WHERE option_name
   = 'jetpack_edit_links_calypso_redirect' LIMIT 1 made by require('wp-blog-header.
   php'), require_once('wp-load.php'), require_once('wp-config.php'), require_once('
   wp-settings.php'), include_once('/plugins/jetpack/jetpack.php'), require_once('/
   plugins/jetpack/load-jetpack.php'), Jetpack::init, Jetpack->__construct, Jetpack::
   get_option, Jetpack_Options::get_option, Jetpack_Options::get_option_from_database,
   get_option, QM_DB->query`
 * Another one of the errors is `PHP Warning mysqli_real_connect(): (HY000/1040):
   Too many connections in /home3/ibrowpor/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on 
   line 1635` .
 * These are the errors is what I get when I turn on debug. The site will have an
   error message “Error connecting to database” multiple times whereas before it
   had been working fine. The website is running on WP 5.5.1 and php 7.4. It will
   be great if someone could help me out.
