# Server transfer problems

 * I just transferred my site from one server company to another.
 * I’m having problems getting it running.

 * 1. Can’t log in to admin panel. When entering credentials, does give an error
   code or reason, simply goes back to the log in screen.
 * 2. Random characters in text.
 * 3. Some theme elements do not work (some background colors and images do not 
   load, but others do)
 * I’ve checked folder permissions and they all appear to be correct. Server is 
   Windows 2012, running IIS8 with plesk 11.5 PHP version is 5.4 MySQL version 5.1
   Plesk was not installed on the old server. The old server used Windows 2008.
