# Server URL Unknown Errors

 * This plugin looks fantastic compared to uh…the other one. However I was able 
   to get that one to connect the Elasticsearch server properly.
 * Entering the Server URL as `http://localhost:9200/` results in “Unknown error:
   52”. I tried `https` and get “Unknown error:35”.
 * What’s my problem?

 * I figured it out. I only have one index and didn’t realize the index name was
   a required field in settings. Better error messaging would have helped.
 * This plugin seems otherwise excellent so far.
