 * I’d like to be able to create a table and set it as “draft”, which would hide
   it from the front-end (e.g. when requested by a shortcode). If I later set the
   table as “published”, it would be displayed again.
 * I guess I can do something with the plugin’s hooks, but it would be useful to
   know if something is possible in the basic version of the plugin.

 * Hi,
 * thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.
 * Unfortunately, giving tables a status like “draft” or “published” is not yet
   possible.
 * Maybe, as a workaround, you could use the “Hide” feature: Select all rows, right
   click and use “Hide -> Selected rows” in the context menu (or use the button
   below the table). This way, the table will not be shown in pages where it’s already
   embedded. Then, when you want to publish it, just un-hide the rows again.
 * Best wishes,
   Tobias

 * [@tobiasbg](https://wordpress.org/support/users/tobiasbg/) – Thanks for the quick
   reply. That workaround is fine for what I need 🙂
