# Set Base Directory

 * Hi there,
 * Thanks for a great free plugin. Just wondering if there is anyway to hook in 
   to set the default directory path instead of modifying the home_dir/home_url 
   variables in the conf.php file directly. Just to avoid these changes being over-
   written by any future updates.

 * I have the same question. I don’t want to display all directories from root. 
   I’d like to show a specific directory.

 * You can do it like I mentioned by modifying the variables in the conf.php file
   to the directory of your choice but they’ll get overwritten if you upgrade the
   plugin which isn’t ideal but the project I used the plugin on didn’t allow me
   enough time for me to find a cleaner solution. Does what you’re after though.
