Set Default roles

    Hi!

    Please, could anybody explain me how “set as default” works?

    I’m running a WP multisite and need to create a custom role and use it for the each new sites created.

    When I set a site as default I get this message “All newly created sites will inherit list of Roles & Capabilities” but it seems doesnt work.

    Hi jjferpa,
    Default site is site that is used to copy the Roles & Capabilities base. Try to create a new role in your Default Site and after that create a new site. The role that you created should be in that site.

    I’ve been doing that: create new role in default blog but doesn’t appear in the new blog created after that.

    Any idea?

    OK. I’ll check. It might be a bug. Let me know what version of AAM & WordPress you have now.

    Hi jjferpa,
    I’ve been testing the latest release and there is no problems with current feature. To make sure that is works for you create a custom role. You can call it Test Role. And make that site as default.
    After that create a new site and Test Role should be on the list of Role for that new site.

    Hi Vasyl,

    that’s what I do. The test role is on the list of the new site, when I try to change the user role from editor yo “test role” y get the message: “Access denied”
