• Is it possible to turn off the widget by default when someone opens the website?
I want users browsing the website to activate it only if necessary.
In practice, with just the float icon that opens the pop-up and a button/link to activate it, the user then chooses the desired accessibility option (e.g. text enlargement, fonts for dyslexics, etc.).

In this way, we can be certain that the website will not be altered in any way unless specifically requested by the user.

    Hi @mickhele,

The widget by default is supposed to be close when a user enters the page, is it consistently open?

Any user can select to hide the widget by clicking the icon and selecting the hide widget at the top.

I didn’t mean the closing of the popup upon opening the page. I meant disabling all the accessibility features provided by the plugin, which can only be activated by clicking on a potential “Enable accessibility tools” button when the Ally popup opens. This way, it would be certain that the plugin does not cause any issues to the site. Basically, having only the Ally icon, without the plugin making any automatic changes to the page (even minimal), except after clicking this button in the popup.

I found this solution on a website and I must say I found it very interesting.

    Hi @mickhele,

The features are only active if the visitor clicks one of them, it is not active by default.

The widget itself cannot be hidden until a user wants to use it because there will be no indication to that, but you can assign a button for the widget dynamically anywhere on the page, if you are using elementor editor.
