Set Google sitemap generator as background task

I am using Google XML Sitemaps plugins for couple of website, it works great.

Most of my products life cycle are dynamic and I have more than 30,000 active products, I have a job queue system which create, update and draft the products. I would like to set the Google Sitemap Generator to run every 10 minutes in crontab than calling it on every save_post. Currently Google Sitemap plugin is taking lot of server resources and slowing down the product creation and update.

Is there any way we can schedule it to run in certain interval, I have seen such option in the screen shots older version but not in current version which I am using it.
