Set loading async

    Hi. I’m trying to speed up my site and checking all the opportunity. In the console I read this message: “Google Maps JavaScript API has been loaded directly without loading=async. This can result in suboptimal performance.”

    Is there a way to load this file as async? Eventually is it safe or can it break my site?

    Hi there, thanks for writing.

    About that warning, thanks for letting us know. The thing is that Google Maps keeps changing how their APIs must be loaded every now and then, we are aware of the warning but for the time being it is not problematic, we keep releasing frequent updates to our plugin when necessary, so we got this covered 🙂 As a matter of fact we are working on our major next release (3.0) and issues like these will be dealt with, so thanks for your patience.
