Setting two permalinks

    Hi,

    Is there a way to set two permalinks or redirect permalinks?

    I have my permalinks set to Post Name so my links would just be the domain/blog-post name recently I noticed that it was not doing that consistently so now some of my posts have the day/name i.e. domain followed by the day then the blog-post name.

    I have gone and re-saved the permalink setting to just be Post Name however some of my links were already posted in facebook and twitter with the broken links. Is there a way to have the broken links redirect to the correct links/post once a visitor come to the website?

    Hey there,

    A plugin like this https://en-ca.ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/simple-301-redirects/ would probably do what you’re after. You can enter in the links so that anyone going to your old one will actually land on the new one. If that plugin doesn’t work for you then there’s a number of other ones you can find by searching for 301 redirect.

    Yes it does. That one in particular was untested with my latest version of WordPress but I found another and it works.
