I just installed the plugin and implemented it into my theme. It works just fine out of the box.

But now I wanted to change some things in the settings like disable the multisite main site and rename the home item. The settings were saved but they do nothing. Nothing changed.

Currently I’m using the bcn_display_list() call but also if I use the bcn_display() call there is no difference (except the formatting of cource).

EDIT: I almost forgot… I cleared all caches in the browser and I don’t use any wordpress caching plugins.

If you are using Breadcrumb NavXT in a Multisite/Network WordPress setup, you must note the warning that is displayed at the top of the settings page. In particular, if you do not have BCN_SETTINGS_USE_LOCAL or BCN_SETTINGS_FAVOR_LOCAL set your settings for an individual site will likely be overridden by the network wide settings for Breadcrumb NavXT.

See this article for more details: https://mtekk.us/archives/guides/controlling-breadcrumb-navxt-settings-from-the-network-settings-page/

    Ah, okay.
Maybe you should link to that page in the plugin description, too. I wouldn’t have found that because I didn’t know what to search for.

    Problem solved.

Sorry about that, it looks like the warnings that are supposed to appear are not always showing up. Though, note that article is linked on the main description on the ww.wp.xz.cn page for this plugin. Since this lately has been the source of confusion, I will be changing the default behavior to use BCN_SETTINGS_USE_LOCAL by default rather than BCN_SETTINGS_USE_NETWORK.
