Settings page not working – 404 error

    All of the sudden I cannot access the settings page of the Autoptimze plugin.
    I get a 404 error.

    I have tried to remove the plugin and install it again without any success.

    Any thoughts? This just happened out of the blue…

    if you’re using “inline & defer” then at a hosting level a “web application firewall” might block the request due to the critical css. if so remove the critical css to confirm.

    if not .. no idea I’m afraid.

    Im pretty sure Im not using “inline & defer” option.

    Since i cannot access the settings page anymore, I have a problem doublecheck of if that options is checked….

    Well, you can check any option via https://your.site/wp-admin/options.php 🙂

    Maybe have a look at your webserver- and php- errorlogs and/ or ask your hoster for help?
