# Setup – after FTP

 * Hi Everyone
 * I’m fairly new to WordPress (and the technical stuff generally!), however I have
   managed to follow the installation instructions. I have uploaded the WordPress
   files via FileZilla and connected successfully, however when I enter my domain
   name the usual WordPress setup page doesn’t appear, just a page of ads. I have
   set up a MySQL database and have the information ready to go, but nowhere to 
   enter the information. Can anyone suggest why this might be the case?
 * If it helps, my domain is registered with and hosted by 123-reg.

   management application your host provides) & delete the index.html file in your
   domain’s root folder.

 * In the root folder of your domain. If you are having problems locating this folder,
   ask your hosts for assistance.

 * I have been unable to contact anyone at 123-reg – their phone numbers don’t appear
   to work and I don’t receive a response to e-mails which is why I was hoping someone
   could point me in the right direction. Thanks for all your help so far though!

 * I’m sorry but all we can do here is point you to the correct solution. We cannot
   do anything for you on your site.

 * Hi – completely appreciate that, no worries! I have actually managed to delete
   the index.html file from the root folder, however it doesn’t appear to have changed
   anything. I don’t suppose you’re able to recommend anything else?

 * I keep getting this error in FileZilla as well:
 * Error: Could not read from socket: ECONNRESET – Connection reset by peer
    Error:
   Disconnected from server

 * However, you currently have a database connection issue. Try checking all of 
   your database details with your hosts.
