# Several AMP errors

 * Hi, I have the following errors on 18 of my pages. Any idea what could be causing
   them?
    Thank you in advance. Tom
 * Error The parent tag of tag ‘html’ must be ‘!doctype’.
 * Error A mandatory AMP HTML tag is missing from this document.
 * Error Tag found outside the document head which is only allowed as a direct child
   of the document head.
 * Error Only amp-boilerplate and amp-custom ‘style’ tags are allowed, and only 
   in the document head.
 * Error Custom JavaScript is not allowed.
 * Error Tag or text which is only allowed inside the body section found outside
   of the body section.
 * Error Disallowed attribute or attribute value present in HTML tag.

   plugin: [https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/amp/](https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/amp/)
   but this caused even more issues so have recently deactivated it. – the errors
   in search console were there before I deactivated the AMP plugin aswell.
