So I keep getting bad performance score on PageSpeed Insights, because I have unused CSS and render-blocking resources from SG Optimizer, is this normal?

Also, Lazy-Load is not working for images used in WPBakery Builder it seems, here is a screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/fTLobSp
The images linked there are used in the main slider from my homepage.

    Thanks

Yes, it is normal, we are loading the combined and minified CSS render blocking because otherwise if we put it in the footer your site will blink very annoyingly to your visitors. We’re working on a critical css functionality that will solve this issue splitting the necessary CSS from the one that can be deferred.

As for the Lazy Load problem, the culprit is the Nivo Slider which works via a shortcode and generates the content after we apply the Lazy Load classes. I’ve added this to our roadmap and we will do our best to find a solution.

1 more thing, I noticed I only get that Lazy Load problem on the pagespeed test for mobile, on desktop it seems to be fine, not sure why.

Hello, any updates on these bugs? The combined CSS and render blocking ones seem pretty major for a lot people.

    Hey @dan021

No update yet, we are still working on this functionality.
