  • Hi renasrenas. It must have something to do with the way the plugin sees the share bar. If you scroll down the page slowly you’ll see that the share bar jumps to the top of the content area just after the post image goes out of view. After you scroll down, if you scroll back up slowly, you’ll see the share bar reach the top of the content area, then jump back down just before the post image comes into view.

    Hi bdbrown,

Tks for your time. If i disable the plugin the bar gets over the image wich is also strange. I did take a look on the process to understand how it works. Even so i cannot understand where is this failing.

Can you test with a picture post on your side. You will see that render takes the share bar over the picture. I do think this is related with the parent div that is being selected to calculate top distance.

I was able to duplicate the issue on an Image post format that has a Featured image. Apparently there was a similar problem last year but it affected a different post type. Looks like the issue may have migrated to the Image post format with the latest update. At this point it looks like the options are (a) disable the scrolling share bar, (2) don’t use a featured image on the Image post type, or (3) use the Standard post type.
