# Shared ssl conundrum

 * I tried using the “official Admin SSL plugin” but that didn’t seem to work.
 * I can set the WordPress url to [https://maindomain.com/~user/wpdirectory/](https://maindomain.com/~user/wpdirectory/)
   
   and define force ssl login true or force ssl admin true.
 * But then any media uploaded winds up being loaded from [https://maindomain.com/~user/](https://maindomain.com/~user/)
   etc..
 * Anybody have any ideas or a working solution?

 * Ok changing the https to http in the WordPress url fixed the file being saved
   with https when uploaded.
 * Although it’s still referencing the file with maindoamin.com/~userver
 * Also the bigger problem now is with the redirection. When I go to userdomain.
   com/wpdirectory/wp-admin it redirects to: [http://maindomain.com/~user/wpdirectory/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http://userdomain.com/wpdirectory/wp-admin/&reauth=1](http://maindomain.com/~user/wpdirectory/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http://userdomain.com/wpdirectory/wp-admin/&reauth=1)
