# Shared Themes & CSS files?

 * Hi
    Using WP Multi Sites, and just realized that any changes i make to a CSS 
   file of a theme, changes all other sites using that theme? I thought that each
   site would have it’s own instance of theme files??
 * Is there a ‘simple’ way to fix or by-pass this?
 * Still quite new at this, so hoping for an easy work-around.

 * Yes, all these are shared and if you’re making edits to the actual files, then
   all sites using that theme will get that change.
 * To make css edits on a site-by-site basis, get the plugin that wordpress.com 
   uses for their css upgrade:
