Problem is, the Open Graph Meta Tags are missing in the HTML source of the webpages. You would like to install our OG Meta Tags plugin https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/heateor-open-graph-meta-tags to fix it.
Then follow the instruction mentioned in Troubleshooter section at plugin options page in admin.
it’s still not working, but it’s working on a demo site i created for testing
the link is here
Sorry, but we can’t see the social share icons at the webpage you mentioned in your first post. Would you enable the icons so that we can look into the situation?
the buttons are not rendering on the front end
even the floating sharing buttons also
it’s not a theme related issue i have checked that by using default theme
facebook comments is showing on the same page
could you please find a solution for this?
Check the page groups you have enabled in Placement option at Super Socializer > Social Sharing page in admin area. If that doesn’t help, send us admin login details of your website at support[at]heateor[dot]com
My sharing buttons are not working. It’s only the Facebook button that is tracking shares. The rest – LinkedIn, Twitter, and Google+ are not working.
The weird thing is that the LinkedIn button was showing all shares but at some point it just stopped working.
It’s really a pity because some of my articles had thousands of shares on LinkedIn.
Anyone who can help me?
@andrianaboyrikova

“Tracking” and “Working” are two different things. Would you please be clear?

We do not store shares at our servers. We just fetch shares from the official APIs supported by social networks and display those at your webpages.
If you post the url of problematic webpage, we would be able to look into it further.
@heateor
Hi,
What I meant is that the buttons don’t show how many times a particular post has been shared. For example, this one: http://ab-mediacommunication.com/2017/08/21/why-netherlands-is-the-new-silicon-valley/
The Facebook button shows 756 and the LinkedIn button used to show 3,000+ but now it doesn’t show anything.
@andrianaboyrikova
You can check the Linkedin shares for the post:
https://www.linkedin.com/countserv/count/share?url=http://ab-mediacommunication.com/2017/08/21/why-netherlands-is-the-new-silicon-valley/&format=json
You can see “count” property is 0. This is official Linkedin API. You would like to check if you had changed permalink structure in the meantime. Shares are counted on url basis. Even a minute change in the url can cause shares to reset.
@heateor
Actually “count”says 3076. That’s very odd. I haven’t changed any url-s either. But thank you anyways!
@andrianaboyrikova
Now it’s working fine suddenly. Definitely something at Linkedin’s end.
@heateor Yes, true! Thanks!
