 * Hi,
 * I use the plugin and the events are well displayed in the footer via the widgets.
   Now I want to display the events on the page itself via the short code. I have
   tried it on multiple pages but nowhere are the events visible. Am I missing something
   that does not show the events?

 * the trick is that you should use the proper quotes `" instead of ”`. So this 
   should work:
 * `[thc-calendar title="Upcoming Events" showholidays="yes" country="us" displaymode
   ="list" firstday="su" numberofholidays="3" showpoweredby="yes"]`

 * btw. It looks like you need to update to 1.16.1. There was a bug inside 1.16 
   that caused the calendar to vanish.
