# Short code doesn't resolve the plugin

 * I am somewhat new to this game, so I figure I am making a silly error somewhere
   along the way …
 * I followed all the instructions to get the PayPal API info and create the tickets
   and packages, but when I create a page and insert the short code, all I get is
   a page with the short code on it.
 * Just the title of my page and the text of the short code.
 * It looks like this:
    [http://www.scenicnevada.org/wp/10th-annual-quick-draw/](http://www.scenicnevada.org/wp/10th-annual-quick-draw/)
 * What am I doing wrong?

 * When you add the shortcode [wpeventticketing] make sure you are in the Text Tab
   of your Page or Post editor and not the Visual Tab.
    When using the visual tab,
   anything you type in there is WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get). The Text
   tab is where any and all code would go.

 * Thanks for the reply, but I did try that. I ended up skipping the use of this
   plugin because nothing worked.

 * Oh ok sorry to hear that.
    Some stuff can be tricky. I got it working ok so at
   the moment I am happy with it
