# Short code in widgets?

 * I want to use tis map on my home page, but when I insert the short code into 
   the widgets that make up the home page (as it is genesis), I don’t see the image
   maps, when I try to hover over them.
 * Is this because it is the free edition? Do I need to purchase the full edition?

 * It might be different with genesis, so I’m not positive, but generally the default
   WordPress widget doesn’t support shortcodes. If you install a plugin like this:
   
   [https://wordpress.org/plugins/shortcode-widget/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/shortcode-widget/)
 * And use the Draw Attention shortcode in that widget instead, it should work.
