 * Thanks for the reply.
    Currently I’m using widgets_on_pages to do the same thing.
   For some of the custom posts (like QUESTION, ANSWER from DWQA plugin), links 
   are NOT proper. Any specific reason?

 * What do you mean with “links are not proper”? Do they link to other posts than
   what they should link to? I’ll make a test in the following hours.

 * Other links are working.
    For example links to POSTS etc. DWQA has 2 custom post
   types – QUESTION and ANSWER. QUESTION links work properly. But ANSWER link is
   the one for which link is different than the plugin link. Install DWQA and see
   it. If any more info reqd, pl let me know.

    1) from POSTS-IN-SIDEBAR 2) from plug-in

 * I just tested DWQA plugin and all works fine, except links to answers. Very likely,
   this is due to a sort of an internal redirecting of the plugin that is not under
   our control.
