# Shortcode Addon: Post Type not Working

 * I just purchased the shortcode addon. It seems to be working, except I cannot
   change the post type.
 * This, the non-shortcode method, works:
 * `Email Subject: page//Test 14`
 * Body:
 * > Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Pellentesque
   >  vestibulum
   > convallis nisl sit amet adipiscing. Ut eget eros quis ipsum rhoncus imperdiet.
   > Integer blandit at libero vel vehicula. Nam imperdiet ut massa id pretium. 
   > Maecenas tempus ligula a iaculis aliquet. Curabitur a nunc elit. Aenean at 
   > elit iaculis, lobortis nulla nec, facilisis turpis. Etiam lacus nulla, bibendum
   > sit amet blandit nec, tincidunt quis nisi. Pellentesque eu nibh ut felis cursus
   > sollicitudin.
 * This, however doesn’t work – it fails to post anything at all, and it doesn’t
   detect post type as page (when I checked the debug log):
 * `Email Subject: Test 12`
 * Body:
 * > [ptype page]
   > Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Pellentesque
   >  vestibulum
   > convallis nisl sit amet adipiscing. Ut eget eros quis ipsum rhoncus imperdiet.

 * I’ve taken a look and everything seems to be working as expected.
 * Did you verify that the shortcode plugin is activated?
 * If it is activated can you send the results of clicking Debug when there is a
   test message waiting.

 * Looks like Gmail is adding nonbreaking spaces to the shortcode for some reason.
