# Shortcode copied! message when block editor loads

 * You add an action to show an alert that says “Shortcode copied!” in the bafg-
   admin.php file in the admin folder in your plugin directory. It seems like this
   loads the message at the top of the page every time a page is opened for editing,
   not just in situations where you copy a shortcode and not just on pages where
   your shortcodes are in use. This confuses and concerns users. Why does this message
   show in seemingly irrelevant places?

 * Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We’ve identified the issue with
   the “Shortcode copied!” message appearing unnecessarily when the block editor
   loads. **We have implemented a fix in our staging environment. The solution will
   be included in the next update. **
