# Shortcode doesn’t work

 * Hi there,
    the form is showing on the posts but when I want to use:
    - Sidebar Optin Form widget
    -  I get this message
       “Please make sure to connect your form to your email 
      marketing provider and to select a thank you page.” in the background and 
      this message on the site: Optin Cat: Invalid Form ID
    - Text widget and put the shortcode [optin-cat id=143]
    - it shows [optin-cat id=143] o the site.
 * What can I do?

   we can help. Is this an issue you’ve had since the get go, or something that 
   happened after ours, or another, update? Also, does the issue persist if you 
   revert to a WordPress default theme?
