# Shortcode doesn’t work

 * I added the shortcode [ecs-list-events] to my page but it doesn’t work. It shows
   the shortcode as content. The page is donnyrod.com using Divi theme and most 
   recent WordPress

 * Can you confirm you have this plugin (The Events Calendar Shortcode) installed
   and activated? You should see something like this when you go to Plugins on your
   WordPress admin area:

 * events do show up in sidebar widget, but I need to list them on a page.

   do show up but that sidebar widget is from The Event Calendar rather than this
   separate shortcode plugin that works with it. If I take a look at your site it
   appears this “The Events Calendar Shortcode” plugin isn’t installed, since:

 * is found (the calendar itself) yet:

 * (this plugin) is not found. Can you:
 * 1) Go to Plugins then Add New on your site
    2) Search for The Events Calendar
   Shortcode (by ‘Event Calendar Newsletter’) 3) Install then activate the plugin
   4) Try the `[ecs-list-events]` shortcode again?
