# Shortcode doesn’t work any more

 * I’m using your plugin for 2 years now, with this shortcode you gave me: [publishpress_authors_list
   layout=”simple_list” orderby=”last_name” order=”ASC” layout_columns=”2″]
 * The page is not empty. Did you change anything in the shortcodes?

 * Thanks for using PublishPress Authors.
 * Could you please try go to Authors > Settings > Advanced, and select Simple List
   in this dropdown option?

 * If the issue persists, you might need to change the layout form “simple_list”
   to the author box id that you could find it here:

 * So, if your original code is:
 *     ```wp-block-code
       [publishpress_authors_list layout=”simple_list” orderby=”last_name” order=”ASC” layout_columns=”2″]
       ```
   
 * You might need to change it to:
 *     ```wp-block-code
       [publishpress_authors_list layout=”ppma_boxes_7” orderby=”last_name” order=”ASC” layout_columns=”2″]
       ```
   
 * Let me know if the issue persists.
