# shortcode doesn't work in widget

 * The shortcode works fine when inserted into a page or post but it doesn’t not
   work when used in a widget. I need to be able to use the slider on a home page
   widget (using static home page with Catalyst theme). Am I missing somethig?

 * aha! I figured out another way. I used a PHP widget and was able to get the php
   snippet to work in the widget area I needed.

 * Actually, you need WOWSlider PHP code, not simple shortcode. You can find a detailed
