 * Hello,
 * If i use the “We re Open!” shortcodes within the Elementor page builder it doesn
   t work. I use the element “shortcode” in Elementor and insert “[open]” but it
   still doesn`t show anything. I also insert all the setting for the plugin.
 * Can anyone help me and tell me why it doesn`t work?
 * Thank you,
    Thomas

 * [@tomtom3000](https://wordpress.org/support/users/tomtom3000/) Thanks for sending
   your query about using the shortcode in the Elementor page builder. I’ll perform
   a test on this shortly and get back to you with a solution.

 * [@tomtom3000](https://wordpress.org/support/users/tomtom3000/) I have just performed
   a test using Elementor (without any other related plugins installed) and I found
   that it works.
 * Basically, look for the **Shortcode** element. Then use the basic shortcode or
   something with parameters (such as `[open]`). It will appear in the page.

 * That`s what i do but it shows still nothing. I tried it now also on another website.
   I just send you a mail with a screenshot to Noah Hearle. Would be awesome if
   you can check that.
    Thank you

 * [@tomtom3000](https://wordpress.org/support/users/tomtom3000/) Thanks, received.
 * What is the URL of the website? The one you posted here does not match the screenshot.

 * [@tomtom3000](https://wordpress.org/support/users/tomtom3000/) I can see the
   empty container:
 * `<div class="elementor-shortcode"></div>`
 * The style and script is loading, but this bit appears to be empty.
 * Just checking – you have entered the setup and set the default settings here?
   Also, you need to save the opening hours once to set these – even if it’s entirely
   closed.
 * Also, are you able to run any other short code in there – just to confirm this
   is the plugin’s fault and not the theme or the page editor itself?
 * Thanks,
 * Noah

      Reason: Other shortcode

 * [@tomtom3000](https://wordpress.org/support/users/tomtom3000/) I am about to
   create a new release of the plugin. Please can you check the previous message
   as I believe it is an issue caused by another plugin (maybe the theme) rather
   than this one?
 * I’ve tested this using just a few plugins, including Elementor activated and
   the `[open]` shortcode returns the expected HTML output.

 * [@designextreme](https://wordpress.org/support/users/designextreme/) Yes i entered
   the setup and set the default settings. I also saved the regular opening hours
   in the “We`re open!” tab. I tried to use the shortcode of the “WP Forms” plugin
   and it works as it should, so we can also exclude that.
    I also tried to use
   another theme than astra (with elementor) and i still get the same issue. Please
   let me know as soon as you release the new version of the plugin. Thanks,

 * [@tomtom3000](https://wordpress.org/support/users/tomtom3000/) I’ve released
   a new version recently. It doesn’t have a fix for your issue because I cannot
   replicate the problem. I still think it is another plugin interfering with the
   display, something outside of the Elementor page editor.
 * Can you drop me an email about this? It’s wordpress dash plugins at designextreme
   dot com. Thanks!

 * [@tomtom3000](https://wordpress.org/support/users/tomtom3000/) Resolved. It was
   not related to Elementor or any other plugins. The plugin requires the opening
   hours to be set once before they are displayed publicly. Currently, if debugging
   was enabled, it would show an error as nothing being set.
 * I am going to change how this works for new installations – in subsequent versions
   I will set the initial opening hours to “Closed” for all days of the week. So,
   if nothing is set and the shortcode or widget is applied, it will reflect this.
