# Shortcode Error

 * Trying to make it so that the word that is shown is completely random instead
   of going in order.
 * I used the following shortcode:
    `[randomize random='1']`
 * However, when I do that, it only displays the first entry on the list. Even after
   refreshing, clearing cache, using a different browser, it’s still only showing
   1 entry and it’s the first one on the list.
 * Side note: I am using Elementor, and I’ve tried using the Shortcode widget as
   well as the HTML widget. Both should work fine, but I get the same issue with
   both.

 * Okay, I fixed this. The problem is that I’m hosted at WP Engine.
 * For anyone hosting at WP Engine, you have to manually enable the option for posts
   to be in random order:
    [https://wpexplorer-themes.com/total/docs/random-order-wpengine/](https://wpexplorer-themes.com/total/docs/random-order-wpengine/)
