 * the shortcode in my page stopped working.
    Nothing has changed but the shortcode
   fails There was an update to WordPress last week. Tried a new page but I cannot
   get it to work.

    My problem was resolved.

 * thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.
 * Good to hear that you were already able to solve this! Yes, this was most likely
   a theme issue as themes are tightly coupled to processing of Shortcodes.
