# Shortcode feature request

 * Hi,
 * I think that a **[mp_store_stats]** should be a shortcode. You could get global
   data out of this, for example ‘Total items sold this month’, ‘Total items sold
   ever’, ‘Last purchase date/time/item’ etc.
 * What do you think?

 * Thanks for the suggestion! Really would be a great shortcode to have too. While
   we don’t really have the resources to add that right now, I’ll mention it to 
   the team to see if that could be looked into after our forthcoming update.
 * On that note, the plugin’s currently in the process of a massive update. No ETA
   just yet, but the developers are working round the clock!
 * In the meantime, while it’s not designed for front-end use, the following plugin
   does provide some nice looking back-end stats:
