 * I was using the previous version to this recent update and realized that there
   isn’t any code for “add_shortcode”, was this removed? Are there any shortcodes
   for this version or in the future?

   adding any

 * si-captcha-for-wordpress plugin version 2.7.5 has this code on line 1474 on the“
   si-captcha.php file:
    “add_shortcode(‘captcha’, array( &$si_image_captcha, ‘si_captcha_contact_form’));”.
   Was this not part of the plugin? Because a client is using the 2.7.5 version 
   and this works for their contact form for some reason, but thx for the reply,
   I’ll look at the other plugin.
