# Shortcode for category?

 * Hello 🙂
 * I have made a grouped calendar out of multiple categories. I would like to show
   the initial category the event came from next to the event, so it is clear for
   what part of our organization this event is for.
 * I have looked for a shortcode, tried all, but can’t find a solution. Is there
   a shortcode to display the initial calendarname or category the event came from
   or is there a different solution I have no knowledge of?

 * I’m not sure if this will work the same but you can check out these event template

 * There is one `[calendar]` that seems similar but we don’t have one that pulls
   the Category you have set for it.

 * I tried the calendar tag but it doesn’t do or display anything. Is there any 
   information our settings I should fulfill before this works?

 * Seems like it will pull in the title of your Google Calendar, so you will want
   to make sure that has a title on the Google side of things.
