# Shortcode Implementation help

 * Trying to create a plugin that extracts a table from the wp database and renders
   it out into a shortcode.
 * admin panel works fine
 * in the post, the table renders but NOT at the point where the shortcode was added,
   it renders beneath the footer.
 * should I be using some sort of action? it has me totally stumped!!

   that could be causing you some grief. Mostly, though, I am wondering why your
   footer is inside `div class="entry"`?

 * Solved, rewrote it, and it’s fixed. Frustrating not to know why it was busted,
   but it works now
