# Shortcode in slide content

 * How can I use a shortcode inside a slide’s content? It lets you put in html content,
   but shortcode text i.e. [my_shortcode] is just returned as text.
 * <?php do_shortcode(‘[my_shortcode]’); ?> displays nothing (it is commented out
   automatically)?

 * You need to tick the “Allow Shortcodes” checkbox in order insert shortcodes in
   your slide content. This image will show you where this is located:
