# Shortcode isn't sorting

 * Hi,
 * I’m trying to use the shortcode [thumbs_rating_top] which is returning values,
   but they’re not the top values and they’re not being sorted.
 * When I adjust the shortcode as follows:
 * [thumbs_rating_top type=”positive” posts_per_page=”5″ post_type=”post” show_votes
   =”yes”]
 * It’s giving me results in the following order:
    1. Post A (1)
    2. Post B (3)
    3. Post c (1)
    4. Post D (2)
    5. Post E (4)
 * It is returning me the most recent posts, and in no particular order. I know 
   I have another post with a higher rating that is older and not being shown, for
   example.
 * I’m using version 2.4 of your plugin which otherwise, is working great 🙂

 * Update:
 * Sorting it by negative posts (i.e. ‘type=negative’) seems to work just fine… 
   so I have no idea why positive isn’t!

 * Hi there,
 * I just tried on a local installation and it works. Not sure how to help you here.
 * Could it be another plugin or the theme? Could preview your site in one of the
   default themes and see if the result is the same?
