# Shortcode Links

 * Is it possible to create one button with no link, and just add the link in the
   shortcode?
 * I have a lot of buttons on the site, it would be helpful to just create a few
   different versions, but leave all the linking in the shortcode on the page itself.
 * Something similar to the following:
    Home page, linking to about: [maxbutton 
   id=”1″ link=”/about”]
 * About page linking back home:
    [maxbutton id=”1″ link=”/”]
 * [https://wordpress.org/plugins/maxbuttons/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/maxbuttons/)

 * Yes you can:
 * `[maxbutton id="1" url="http://yoururl"]`
 * You can even change the text and a few other options.
 * In the new version there is in the top ( where to shortcode is ) a link to ‘shortcode
   examples’ where you can see all options.
