ShortCode List

    Some else recommended a shortcode builder for those of us using a builder other than Guttenberg. You said that would be difficult due to the variations. Could we at least get a full list of the attributes so we can try create our own? Or is there a list available? You give several examples on many of the help pages, but I can’t find an inclusive list. I realize not each attribute will work in certain combinations, but without using the wizard, I currently can’t configure many of the functions.

    For example, I want to define the description display method using a ShortCode. How do I do that?

    No, I don’t have a full list of attributes; there are just too many of them, and the list varies by platform (Google, Flickr etc.), level of display (collections/folders, albums, photos, users etc.) and layout. The permutations are simply mind-boggling. There are some special attributes listed in Photonic → Getting Started → Secret Menu, but that is not a list I have updated for at least a couple of years.

    That is why I have a full-fledged shortcode Wizard. The Wizard works in Classic Editor (both, Visual and Text), in Widgets, Gutenberg, Elementor and Beaver. If you are using something else, my suggestion would be to work with a draft blank post in the text editor, and generate the gallery there. You can then copy the shortcode elsewhere. That is going to be much more effective than trying to code it by hand.

    Gotcha, that’s a good suggestion. I’m using Brizy, which is not on your list – but the copy-paste method should work. Thank you!
