# Shortcode needed please

 * Sirs, could you help me in such a simple thing? Is it possible to get to a page
   not just a list of all the events but events for a single category of events?
 * I know that the general short code is [events_list]. For amount of events and
   country we add limit=”XX” location=”XX”]
 * Is it something like that for a category filter?
 * Thank you in advance.

 * [events_list category=”1″] will only show event in Events Category ID 1. To exclude
   a certain category, but still show the others, add a minus to the category ID:
   category=”-1″.

 * Patrick, That is exactly the confusion we have.
 * We added the shortcode which displayed a search box that is doing nothing for
   us.
