# Shortcode not rendering content

 * Today, I loaded your shortcode form wordpress.org plugins website. Unfortunately,
   it does not seem to be working.
 * I tried to use this shortcode:
    [simple_testimonials adaptiveheight=”true” arrows
   =”false” dots=”true” fade=”true” infinite=”true” slidestoshow=”1″ total_post=”
   3″ layout=”quote” category=”Sample1” speed=”300″ autoplayspeed=”3000″]
 * where “Sample1” is my test category I’m using to see if I can get 3 testimonials
   to show in the carousel.

 * Ok.. going to use a different plugin. I see that the code is not compatible with
   our wordpress installation

 * Sorry for the inconvenience.
 * Inverted commas used in the parameters for the shortcode are not working. You
   will have to add them again. There is a character encoding issue.
 * If you will use the following shortcode then it will run on your end:
    [simple_testimonials]
