# Shortcode not working

 * Tried pasting the shortcode but it shows the shortcode instead of the form. All
   my other shortcodes are working fine. Tried disabling all other plugins and themes
   didn’t help. Please kindly advice. Thanks.

 * paste in text mode rather than html
    check your wordpress settings

 * Hi, thanks for the suggestions but there’s no duplicates and I also did try to
   paste on text not html. As I have mentioned other shortcodes work.

 * Hi! That might be caused by not having a function (or a plugin) to render that
   shortcode in the first. What shortcode are you trying to use? Is it coming from
   a plugin?

 * Hi “by not having a function” as in you suspect that contact form 7 is not installed?
   I can be sure that it is.

 * The shortcode looks good to me but have you checked if you have the Contact Form
   7 plugin installed and **activated**?
