# Shortcode not working

 * Any suggestions on why the plugin’s shortcodes are not working for a website?

 * Sorry for the trouble! This usually happens when something on your site is preventing
   shortcodes from being processed properly. This can happen as a result of code
   in a theme, plugin, or custom code if you’ve used it.
 * In order for us to better help track down what’s happening, could you please 
   [submit a ticket](https://wpforms.com/contact/) to our support system? When you
   open that page, you can use the ‘I have a basic question’ option and submit a
   ticket form from there.

 * **Resolved:** The theme used by this site didn’t support shortcodes in text widgets,
   so switching to the WPForms widget resolved the issue.
