# Shortcode not working

 * I’ve embedded the following shortcode:
    `[favorite_button post_id=”127″]`
 * It shows up, but doesn’t function correctly:
    Clicking the Favorite button never
   fills in the star, or saves any kind of Favorite preference.
 * I am using Divi theme.
 * Thanks in advance for anyone able to help!

   and the button doesn’t work like in the video.

 * [@hwsc](https://wordpress.org/support/users/hwsc/) i figured it out. in my case
   the problem was that i added the shortcode on a post type that i didn’t enable
   it for. you also need to configure it like here: [https://snipboard.io/xgNDWf.jpg](https://snipboard.io/xgNDWf.jpg)
   so that it works with divi

   but I can’t get your snipboard image to load. Could you describe the place you
   have to configure?
