# Shortcode not working

 * I’m using the classic editor and trying to add shortcode into either a blog post
   or page.
 * I’ve simply copied and pasted the shortcode within the post but it doesn’t display(
   neither does the actually shortcode text). when loading the page it appears to
   flash like something’s loading – but then doesn’t appear like something’s blocking
   it.
 * I’ve successfully used other shortcode in this way.
 * Any ideas?

 * Can you please provide the link for the page where you used the shortcode of 
   the Cost Calculator? By checking the console we will try to find the cause of
   the problem.

 * I tested the problem using both Gutenberg and classic editors and the problem
   is not detected on our side:

 * Thanks for this. Ive tested plugin and theme conflicts and seems to be problem
   with my site’s bespoke theme. Can you suggest anything to override or work with
   the theme?
