Have latest version of WordPress and the Series plugin as of posting.
Using BLocksy Pro Theme.
I am trying to use the shortcodes in the block editor. I placed in a shortcode block and then pasted [series_post_list_box] on a post that is part of a series.
The page shows in plain text: [series_post_list_box]
The list box works when auto placing, but I have a requirement to place it for my page layout and need to use it as a shortcode to do this.
The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]
We were considering paying for it as we also were looking at a few other PublishPress plugins we like, but I am now not to sure. The fact this information is hidden within the documentation indicates a bit of sneakiness and I really dont like it when business’s are not upfront, and especially hate it when business screw around with their long time customers.

We took over the plugin 2 years ago. The previous (and original) developer had been selling this shortcodes as part of his Pro package for at least 2 years before that.
Is it possible you previously had the Pro version at one point?
Never had the pro version and was always kept up to date.
Have ALWAYS used the shortcodes on the site, only switching because of making our process of posting more automated.
Feeling very dupped at the moment, and we were considering buying 3 of your other plugins but am very reluctant to right now.
Very annoyed about having to fork out more money, ONLY because of rebuilding a website. Not being informed clearly about the change, and having the information that shortcodes are now a paid feature being hidden within documentation, is very deceiving.
I am now going to go to my client and basically sound like a scammer, asking for more money for something they already had. I know they will not be happy about being backed into a corner over this.
Also (and this goes for most paid plugins), when you have pricing on your website stating 1 or 3 or unlimited sites, please be crystal clear. I have 1 site. A WordPress Multisite. I then run 3 domains under that. So is the license per domain or per WordPress install?
So I have main site, then a subsite as a subdomain and another subsite with its own seperate domain.
You say in the documentation that the license is per plugin folder. Which I have only 1 of course.
But you imply that I activate the plugin network wide. Only thing is, I dont need the plugins under resume.tyneesha.com.
So am I able to activate on tyneesha.com and register there, then activate and use also under neesh.photography? eaving resume.tyneesha.com without the plugins?
Hi @eangulus. Sorry for the confusion here. I don’t know if there was a change. If there was, it didn’t happen while we have managed the plugin.
On a multi-site installation you can activate the license key so it will be available across all the sub-sites. However, you don’t need to activate the plugin itself on all those sub-sites.
