# Shortcode Parameters

 * Wonderful plugin – thank you.
 * I am having trouble with shortcode parameters which took some time to understand.
 * Shortcode parameters starting with uppercase characters to not work – that is,
   they return to default values only not the entered values.
 * For example, the parameters **Text **and **Number **do not work.
 * Parameters **text **and **number **do work.
 * When I reference the parameters in the **Shortcode template** editor, I have 
   ensured that the case of the parameters are the match the definition but this
   does not affect the outcome.
 * Parameters containing hyphens do not work either which has been mentioned in 
   another post.

 * I do know that WordPress often forces lower case attribute names – and it seems
   this is the case here….
