# Shortcode parameters don’t work

   I’m trying to use the next short code:[doc_library doc_category=”59″] < 
   category_id
 * [doc_library doc_category=”literatura”] < slug
 * Additional parameters such as [`status`](https://barn2.com/kb/dlp-include-exclude/#status),
   or [`docs_per_page`](https://barn2.com/kb/number-documents#docs_per_page) don’t
   work either.
   Is those shortcode parameter still work on lite version?—WordPress
   version: Version 6.7.2Document Library Lite: Version 1.1.3

 * Thank you for getting in touch. I tested what you are reporting and I see what
   you are saying. I can replicate the issue witht he **doc_category** and **status**
   parameters. However, **docs_per_page** is working for me. Please double-check
   and see if docs_per_page is working for you. Please let me know the exact shortcode
   you are using.

 * I hope you are doing well. We’ve identified the issue with the **doc_category**
   parameter. The fix will be included in the next update. In the meantime, if you
   need it right now, here is a patched copy – [https://we.tl/t-4r4f9UMGbg](https://we.tl/t-4r4f9UMGbg).
   The link is valid for 7 days.
 * With regards to the other parameters, we’re not able to consistenly replicate
   any issues with them. Please check again with the patched version and let me 
   know if the issue persists.

   patience. I’m just letting you know that we released an update for Document Library
   Lite. This addresses the issue with the **doc_category** parameter. Please update
