# Shortcode Preview not working

 * Hello,
    After putting the link to the pdf file into the google doc embedder, 
   the short code will not appear when i click in the box.
 * I watched this tutorial and did exactly what the video did, but it’s not working…
   Any ideas on how to solve this?

 * Are you talking about the editor dialog for GDE? What video are you referring
   to?
 * Happy to help you resolve any issue with that with some more information. You
   should also be able to insert a shortcode using the media library, unless you’ve
   disabled that option.
